Ironically I find myself at a loss for words. Thank you seems a bit underwhelming given your comment here. Substack is a puzzle to me…I regularly lose myself in its entrails and find myself wondering whether there is anyone else is around. I can literally hear the echoes of its emptiness most times I post. But then I get a response like yours. I’ve just looked up Didion (the shame of ignorance burns bright) and am a little thrilled you might invoke her. I am going to read more. Thankyou again.
